Fantastic Designer Friday with Cynthialoowho♥

This album was so much fun to make. I didn't want to stop but I ran out of pages to embellish :)
I used the Butterfly Album available @ Lindy's Stamp Gang. I also used Prima Fairy Belle paper collection and misc lazer die-cuts, Starbursts, Glitz, I Am Roses flowers, and embellishments.

I titled this album Wonder.
I bound this album with lace using my lace binding technique. For the cover I used lace, flowers, butterfly appliques, and leaves.
The first pages have a frame, a journal spot sprayed with Scintillating Silver Glitz Spritz, and a butterfly embellishment I made from rosette trim, fancy trim, pearls, and sprays.
If you look very closely behind the fairy she has some beautiful peacock feathers so I had to use the Peacock Feathers die-cut, I used a beautiful green to paint some of the accents. There is a photo mat and a journal spot on these pages as well. Behind the journal spot and photo mat are tags that pull out.
These are my favorite pages. I used the Heart Flourish and embellished it with some beautiful pearls. I also used some beautiful lazer die-cut frames embellished with pearls. I used some Roses colored with Salt Water Taffy Starburst spray.
On these last pages I used Black Orchid Silver on the Peacock Feather die-cut and Baroque photo mat, added some bling and leaves and done :)
The front and back covers. I added some beautiful bows on the spine for some frills.

Technique Tuesday with Cynthialoowho♥

Here is an easy way to add some beautiful to your chipboard letters, numbers, & embellishments.
Start with a piece of chipboard, Lindy's Stamp Gang two toned embossing powder, VersaMark, Magical Mica/Mica, a stamp, and a heat gun.

Add 2 coats of embossing powder to your chipboard.

Now stamp image in Versa Mark and lightly brush with your choice of Magical Mica/Mica powder.
Heat chip piece until embossing powder is liquid then quickly press image on chip piece and pull away.
Make sure to use a good quality rubber or cling stamp. Stamp should pull away easy and clean.

FDF: Altered Canvas with Sharon

Hi everyone, it's Sharon here, and I want to welcome you to another Fabulous Designer Friday!
Today I wanted to share an altered canvas I created for a friend using Lindy's Stamp Gang products.
I had a really good time making this project, and love all the dimension it has.
My favorite though, is the wood frame  (I got it at my local Michael's) which I altered, spraying some Incandescent Copper, and Van Dyke Sepia Moon Shadow Mists, and then adding some Lindy's Stamp Gang Embossing Powders in the colors Midnight Copper and Byzantine Bronze. I LOVE the look it gave to the wood, and like I've said in the past, I LOVE sprinkling Lindy's Stamp Gang Embossing Powders on my projects.

I also used my new favorite, the Glitz Spritz in the color Blazing Sun on all the paper flowers I used. In the next picture you can see a close up of one of the flowers, and the wonderful gold shimmer on it. I spray it on everything now!

Loved working with this canvas, and you can find a video tutorial on how it came about on the Lindy's Stamp Gang YouTube Channel later this weekend, so if you are interested, just head on over there later, and take a look.  All the designers upload a great variety of videos using the LSG products for your viewing pleasure. I hope you liked my project for today, and thanks so much for stopping by the blog. Until next time! Have a great weekend!

Technique Tuesday with Cynthialoowho♥

Fill your molds with Lindy's Stamp Gang's Two Toned Embossing Powders for a stunning embellishment!
For this technique you will need:
A melting pot
Non-stick Heat Resistant tools (tweezers, spatula, mat, etc)
Heat Gun
Versa Mark Embossing Ink
Non-stick heat resistant molds

First melt your desired Embossing Powder into the melting pot.
Here I'm using Midnight Bronze Obsidian. A little goes a long way.
Pour liquid carefully into your mold.

Use heat gun to spread liquid.
Hear is a variety of embellishments I made with different molds and Two Toned Embossing Powders.
For some extra luster rub pieces with Versa Mark and brush with Lindy's Stamp Gang's Mica Powders.
Slightly heat to seal mica powders.
I hope you like this

FDF: Shabby Tag Mini Album

Hello everyone! It's Sharon here today with another Fabulous Designer Friday (FDF) post. I'm sharing with you a project featuring  several Lindy's Stamp Gang products. I love how this shabby little book came out, and it was inspired by THIS tag I made for the Lindy's Stamp Gang booth at Winter CHA.
I used several embossing powders and Lindy's Stamp Gang(LSG) Sprays throughout out the album. I cut out the birds, crown and birdcage out of chipboard with Tim Holtz alterations dies. On the crown, I used Lindy's Stamp Gang Embossing Powder in the color Hibiscus Rose Orange, and on the birdcage I used Weeping Willow Green Gold, also from LSG. I sprayed the entire album cover as well as the birds, and all the tag pages with my Glitz Spritz in Scintilating Silver.
To color the flower on top of the raffia bow, I used the Starburst Stain colors in Alpine Ice Rose and the Icy Primrose Gold. I used those same two colors to color the trim you see on the binding of the album, and in some pages of the inside pages of the album. Underneath the bow, I added some lace from my local scrapbook store, some bling sprays, and some Melissa Frances crystals.

There is an acrylic tag page, which I accented with some lace and a chipboad piece I embossed using the Weeping Willow Green Gold Embosing Powder. You can watch more details on THIS video I made.

Really shabby, and simple album. I had a great time creating it. Hope you enjoyed!

Technique Tuesday with Cynthialoowho♥

Lindy's Stamp Gang's two toned Embossing Powders are so versatile and beautiful I just had to try a new technique! I made a rose from just embossing powders. It was very easy and fun.

To make your own roses you will need:
Melting Pot
Non stick heat resistant tools
and a heat gun.
First melt your desired powder into the melting pot and once melted use non-stick spatula to smear liquid onto non-stick heat resistant mat.
Once cooled heat slightly with heat gun and mold with tools. Use heat resistant tweezers to roll smeared powder into a spiral. Then heat slightly at bottom to adhere petals until you've achieved your desired size.
Next do the same thing with a green colored two toned embossing powder I used Midnight Teal Obsidian and for the rose I used Candy Cane Red.
Use jagged edge scissors to cut the leaf shape. Then heat slightly to adhere to rose.
Now you have a beautiful two toned, shimmery, shiny rose!
