Introducing "Tickle Me Fancy"

This beautiful New set has rich colors and shimmer. Hottie Patottie & Gregarious Grey are not new colors but go with this set beautifully.
Let's start with "Frolic in the Forest Black" it has a deep rich dark color and a gorgeous Deep Emerald Green shimmer.
Midnight Rendezvous Raven is also a deep rich black color with beautiful silver/black shimmer.
Last but not least VaVaVaVoom Violet is a rich black color with a beautiful Violet shimmer.

I decided to alter a candle for a Halloween project, here is a before photo.

Not to bad but it needed a little something ;)
so I started shaving the sides of the candle with a cheese slicer to flatten 3 sides, then I grabbed my craft iron and a spellbinders border die and started putting imprints of the die on the rounded edges.
I applied some silver leaf Rub 'N' Buff to the raised edges and added some Gregarious Grey for some added shimmer.
I used the same spellbinders set to cut out some dies. I added some Midnight Rondezvous Raven and VaVaVaVoom Violet to the die cuts.

I added some trims, bling, and finished it off with Gregarious Grey.

Keep an eye out for this Beautiful New Starburst Set

Lindy's in Australia

Hi All - just thought I'd share a few pics from a 3 day Scrapbooking Retreat run by A Craft Affair on Anne that took place last weekend in Queensland, Australia.  One of our Design Team members, Kate Palmer, went along to teach a workshop featuring the beautiful products from Lindy's Stamp Gang, participants had the chance to play with Starbursts, Magicals, Glitz Spritz and the beautiful Moonglow embossing powders.  By the end of 12 hours there were sparkles everywhere and tired, but happy faces (we won't talk about the hands!).

Some of the days' creations included:
Spritzed Magicals pages
Magicals made 'pastel' by blotting some of the colour off.
The last technique for Group 1.
Crumpled Starburst backgrounds - these make AMAZING flowers!
Group 2 - hard at work playing with products.

Stained Glass Canvas

Here is an amazing creation by Rachel Miller using our goodies!

How she made the faux stained glass rose that Rachel made with Lindy's, sticky back canvas, acetate, all on a canvas.

Lindy's Used:
Poincianna Red Flame
Cathedral Pines Green
Delphinium Turquoise
Screamin' Banshee black magical

Here are her instructions: I sprayed the canvas with delphinium turquoise, dried it as it was, and after I put the sticky back canvas onto the alcohol inked acetate, it created a "rain" type effect. The sticky back canvas for the rose was painted with the poincianna red flame, the leaves were cathedral pines green, I cut and stuck down the pieces in the places they were supposed to go. I printed off the image from the web to make the pieces. Then I mixed the screamin' banshee black magical with glossy accents for the faux metal working to create the stained glass effect. Super glued the corners of the acetate to the canvas, and it was done. It's my favorite canvas so far.

Do you have creations using Lindy's that you want to share with everyone????
Email a photo, (&/or YouTube link), what LSG products you used, and instructions on how you did it.  We will post it on our blog or in our customer gallery on our website!
Thanks!
