Make your own Wax looking seals for your Holiday Envelopes using Lindy's Stamp Gang Embossing Powders.

Lindy's Stamp Gang offers a large variety of Embossing Powders. Here are a couple I've picked out that will match the theme of my Christmas Cards!
There is also a Christmas Themed set " Cool Yule"

You will need your choice of Lindy's Stamp Gang Embossing Powders, VersaMark, a stamp, heat gun, cardstock, and a 1" circle punch!

Using the corner of your Versa Mark pad stamp on the cardstock in a small area (the size of your circle punch)

Sprinkle the area with Lindy's Stamp Gang Embossing Powders, I chose Pointsettia Red Green.

Heat the area underneath the cardstock till all powder is melted.

Warm slightly with your heat gun and stamp with your image.

Now punch out your seal with your circle punch.

Now just adhere to any envelope to have a beautiful wax looking seal!
Here are some other examples
For the snowflake on the left I used Candy Cane Red and a snowflake stamp.

I used Morning Glory Azure Teal and a snowman stamp for the left seal and Silver Moon Mistletoe and a snowflake stamp for the seal on the right!

Make your own Shimmer & Glitter Glue with Lindy's Stamp Gang

I use Glossy Accent's Mica's, Magical Mica's, glitter, and a small applicator bottle.
Pour Glossy Accent's in your bottle add your favorite Lindy's Stamp Gang Mica, or Magical Mica (use small end of a paint brush to add mica's to bottle) Mix well.

Here I've stamped an image and embossed with white embossing powder.

The mixture I used for this look is:
Glossy Accent's, Scintillating Silver Mica, and Glamour Dust.
I've just accented a few spots. It dries dimensional.

For this next mixture I used
Glossy Accent's, Midnight Rendezvous Raven Magical Mica, and silver glitter.
I also accented this image with the previous Glimmer Glue.
With all the colors available at Lindy's Stamp Gang the possibilities are endless and your sure to match your project's.

Fun Background Layout Tutorial

Hi there! Sharon here and today I wanted to share with you this neat hanging layout I created for my mother. Last year, I made her one, and she asked me to make another one for her this year. This one is a little bigger than the one I made before, but it turned out just as cute, if not cuter (to see the one I made last year click HERE).
I started with a plain old piece of 8 1/2 by 8 1/2 chipboard, which I covered in white cardstock. I then proceeded to make the background using some Starbursts Stains from Lindy's Stamp Gang. I made a very detailed tutorial video of exactly what I did with all the pieces on this layout, and you can watch it by clicking HERE. All the colors of stains and embossing powders I used are detailed there.

I love all the shimmer, and it truly does give me the feeling of winter every time I look at it. I hope she likes it!

Christmas Candles

I started out with a plain white candle

I grabbed a beautiful Christmas Stamp, Versa Mark, and Midnight Gold Obsidian LSG Embossing Powders

I then stamped my image with VersaMark on tissue paper.

Sprinkle with Midnight Gold Obsidian Embossing Powder.
Shake off excess powder and heat set!

Then position on candle and add a sheet of wax paper over the tissue.

Now run your heat gun over the image until then entire piece of tissue paper disappears in the candle.
Be careful not to over heat as the wax will drip. Slowly peel the wax paper off the candle.

Now that was easy and I have a beautiful Christmas Candle!

"Mask"
I love this technique!
You can mask with almost anything that has a design. In these photo's I've used stencils and

Here is a full 8 1/2"x11" stencil.

I sprayed the entire stencil with Breakfast Club Blue Starburst Spray

Carefully tap the excess spray off with a cloth and wipe.

Here is the beautiful design.

Here I've chosen some beautiful Lazer Cut Out's.

Here is the beautiful design's.

A close up of that beautiful shimmer!

Can you "RESIST" Lindy's Stamp Gang?

I decided to make a Christmas card in light if the Holiday Season. I used the resist technique with VersaMark, some Christmas stamps, clear embossing powder with a hint of glitter, and Frosty Forest Green Starburst Spray, also available in the Christmas Try Me Set! I added some brown ribbon and a red bling!

Here is some white card stock stamped and embossed with clear embossing powder with a hint if glitter.

Here I've sprayed the entire card with Frosty Forest Green and wiped the embossed image.

Here is my finished Christmas card.
